Here is Ping stealthily stalking his prey the humble rollini nibble treat through the tight gap in the box. Doesn't he look like a proud lion guarding his prize?

It would seem that Pong has mastered the art of jumping off the running wheel at speed. Look at the balletic 's' form he pulls as he bounds for terra firma.

Much ado about Pingpong

Naughty Pong he was merely trying to promote their recent record breaking attempt at finding the longest ever roborovski hamster. But you can clearly see here that it is just Ping ontop of Pong, what a Hoax!

Pong later released this statement:

Pingpong shredding things part 2

Ping pong are industriously shredding the toilet tubes to use as bedding, do you think that they are preparing a warm bed to hibernate in? I only ask this because it is now approaching winter and they normally leave the tubes and cardboard boxes alone, it's only been the last few days that they are chewing anything cardboard and putting it in their bedding area.

Lift made for a hamster.

This lift takes the hamster to her penthouse apartment at the top but she keeps falling off. We should get one Ping!

Pingpong on the wheel - dangerzone!

Ping and Pong love running on the wheel so much. Building up so much speed that they fly off. These thrill seeking hamsters just get back on!

Squeaky sleepy Pong!

Listen to Pong squeaking as he sleeps is he dreaming? probably about a giant banana flake for sure, it's so cute. Ping also shows shows how the hamsters communicate via squeaking too!

Ping loves sleeping next to his snuggle toy Pong. By keeping together like this they can minimise heat loss.

Pong's first monkeynut

This is Pong eating his first monkey nut. He managed to gnaw the shell open (great fun by the way) and hungrily tucked into one of the nuts. He even split it into two to share with me, how thoughtful. (or was it that he couldn't fit it all in his cheek pouch? :) )

Pingpong exercise time.

We both like to keep supple and flexible as a good hamster should. Here is Ping doing the splits on Daddy's finger, and Pong completing some wrist warming exercises to make sure he can dig non-stop. We learnt a lot from Bobo who coined the cute phrase 'flexi-bo!' and we would hope to emulate that healthy living concept.

Ping the escape artist?

There have now been three instances where Ping has managed to escape from the box, did Mummy put to much hay in? Were the tubes stacked too high? Was Ping able to climb the waterbottle? Nobody knows how but clearly he enjoys it. This photo is obviously a picture of Ping still in the box, thats because all effort was being taken to catch him rather than taking memorable photos of the freedom expose!

Duckling season

It's been baby boom season over the last couple of months. These ducklings are soooooo cute even if they are bigger than us.

Naughty box

The other day I (Ping) was doing my daily dig to the centre of the earth when I got stuck under the wheel. When Daddy let me out Pong started attacking me and chasing be round the box. So as a punishment Pong was put in the naughty box with no toys so that he would learn to behave.

Here is a picture of me running happily on the wheel until Pong apologized and was let back in.

Journey to the......

It's in our nature to want to run around and explore so sometimes we try to dig to the centre of the Earth. We take it in turns to burrow down and move our little paws as fast as we can, but haven't quite got there yet.

Drinks all round

It's thirsty work being this cute so we both have to keep ourselves hydrated. We usually drink seperately but sometimes we both partake in the yummy water drinking.

Daddy thought that it would be funny to wet my hair and punk it up, he called it a Ponghekin. What do you think folks? Is it a trend setter or what.

Hello my name is Pong and as Ping has mentioned I am the slightly larger one, I also have a lighter brown coloured fur than Ping whos seems to be a darker grey. I enjoy a more relaxed view to life and nibbling on banana chips.

Hi there readers, you may be wondering how to tell the two of us apart. My name is Ping and I am the smaller of us two brothers. I am quite nervous and need my big brother Pong around as he seems to know what he is doing.

Mummy and Daddy were teasing me about how small I was and compared me to a chicken nugget.
...........I was not pleased, although I know they would never nuggetize me! :)
